Credit Crisis Job Opportunities - Web Content Writer-Creator

During the Credit Crisis I've been trying to come up with a number of no cost ways to earn income via the internet. One of the best opportunities in-terms of income and self-growth is web content writing.

What exactly is web content writing? Well, you're reading some of it right now. Web content writing is writing exclusive articles, posts, and stories for online readers. Now what you decide to do with it is up to you. Some choose to use their content for their own blogs and/or ebooks. Others write exclusively for others. Today we are going to focus on writing for others.

If you have an area of expertise and would like to earn a little cash on the side then this style of writing is for you. Let's say you are a fan of golf. There are people and companies out there that are willing to pay for original content based upon various aspects of golf. Some may be interested in covering the PGA tour, others may want points and tips, still others may want product reviews, etc. You get the point. There is a market for a wide range of golf related articles.

Who's buying? Individual clients may purchase the content to put on their blogs. You may have sponsored review opportunities from golf supply companies. Or perhaps you could land a large online writing gig for a newspaper or large golf website. There are plenty of options and opportunities.

Where can I find a gig? Well there are quite a few places online that a prospective web content writer can look to find employment. If you live in the United States a great place to start is Craig's List. You can check locally or you can check out large markets for telecommute job listings. In Canada you can use the Craig's List equivalent, Kijijji. When in doubt check out a number of the freelance blogs that you can find through Google.

Don't let the Credit Crisis freeze you in your tracks. Take a passion, create a few samples and get out there and sell your exclusive web content writing to prospective buyers.
